Wednesday 1 February 2012

The other night I was talking to my husband about my goals for 2012. Thr typical things came up, weight loss and financial plans. That sort of thing, then I told him about my knitting goals and he flipped out. He told me that I was crazy. He didn't seem to realize that they are just knitting goals and that there are not goal police out there to get me if I don't succeed. He said that my knitting goals for this year are a little unrealistic. What do you think. I'll explain.

Earlier this week I joined some other knitting groups on Ravelry. I joined the group 52 in 52 weeks.
That is were you knit 52 items in a year, that works out to be 1 item a week. There is no size limit.
Another group was 12 sweaters in 2012. That means that you have to knit 12 sweaters in the year, they could be 12 baby sweaters, toddler, or adults, or a combination of them. 12 For Myself, where you knit 12 thinks for you. Dozen shawls in 2012. You knit 12 shawls in a year. And a few swaps too and some knit alongs.

Does that seem daughnting? I didn't seam to think so, but he did. I plan on trying very hard to achive my goals this year. What do you think, is this a good use of my time, please comment in the post and let me know what you think.
